For about 30 seconds, 17-year-old Steve Consalvi had his moments of fame. He hopped the fence and ran around center field at the top of the eighth inning of a Phillies-Cardinals baseball game on May 3, swinging a white towel over his head. Then he was taken down by a police officer with a Taser from about 15 feet away. According to the Philadelphia Inquirer, Consalvi called his dad to ask permission to enter the field. His father told him it was not a good idea, but the rambunctious teen decided to give it a go anyway. He told his dad, "This would be a once-in-a-lifetime experience."
